Fees

This is a private practice and DOES NOT BULK BILL. All fees for appointments must be paid for on the day; accounts are not given.

All Late Cancellations and Non Attended appointments will be charged at half the consult fee. This requires payment before your next appointment.

The schedule of fees may vary once a year in line with alterations to the medicare rebate.

Doctors, may, at their discretion, bulk bill patients.

GPs and patients may request a bulk billed consultation (item 291) where the psychiatrist assesses the patient and develops a management plan but sends the patient back to the GP to implement that management plan. This can be reviewed at the GPs request once within 12 months of the initial 291 assessment. The next time the psychiatrist can assess or treat the patient is 12 months after the initial 291 assessment.

This bulk billed assessment is NOT suitable for patients with ADHD requiring stimulant medication.

Most patients are charged privately, although practitioners may choose to bulk bill.

DVA patients: All DVA patients are bulk billed.

WC patients: All ratified Workers Compensation patients are invoiced to their relevant insurer. In order to qualify for this service, the patient must provide us with a claim number and permission for treatment letter from their insurer.

Medicolegal reports require a formal request from a lawyer for a report.

Psychiatrist appointments

Missed appointments (if they are not cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand) are charged at 50% of the fee that would have applied.
